In 2013, Shamrock achieved the ISO 9001:2008 Certification and in 2018, we upgraded to ISO 9001:2015.
ISO 9001:2015 is an internationally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems. ISO standards help organizations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders while complying with statutory, contractual and regulatory requirements. In addition to demonstrating Shamrock’s strong commitment to quality and to its customers, the certification facilitates Shamrock’s further expansion in the international market.
REACH
REACH is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals, while enhancing the competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry.
REACH places the burden of proof on companies. To comply with the regulation, companies must identify and manage the risks linked to the substances they manufacture and market in the EU. They have to demonstrate to ECHA how the substance can be safely used, and they must communicate the risk management measures to the users.
Shamrock, being an active base oil and lubricant importer to the EU, has gone all the way to take off this burden from our Customers’ shoulders. We manage the risks and report all imported substances for you, being a REACH registered importer under ECHA in your Supply Chain.

The Cyprus International Business Association (CIBA)
Shamrock has been a member of the Cyprus International Business Association (CIBA) since 2011. Our membership not only allows us to grow our local network, but we can continue to support the local economy and community that hosts us.
CIBA was established on 31 December 1992 as a registered not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. It came to existence on the initiative of a number of expatriate business executives who had moved their international operations to Cyprus. They wanted to benefit from the Island’s strategic location, bridging Europe with the Middle East, Africa and the Far East, as well as to take advantage of the Island’s relaxed atmosphere and Mediterranean climate and its simple but competitive and effective tax regime. CIBA’s mission is to take care of the international community in Cyprus.
