Currently we are looking for a Base Oil Assistant Trader to join us!
Job description
As a Base Oil Assistant Trader, you will be working under the supervision of the Senior Trader, in a highly commercial, dynamic, and multilingual team. Previous experience in Sales is a must, specific knowledge of petrochemical products we will teach.
Your job is to find the best balance between sales and buying. On a daily basis You are keeping track of offers, maintaining relationships with customers, and negotiating prices, payment, and delivery terms.
In the beginning, you will get great support and navigation from more experienced colleagues. It is a great opportunity for a young and ambitious person to learn in-depth and from the inside about international business. It’s also a great opportunity to monetize your sales skills, as our Traders and Sales Managers have very attractive remuneration plans.
Ideal candidate:
- You speak fluent English
- You have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in economics/business
- You love Sales and have at least 2 years of experience – is a must!
- You are flexible, dynamic and ambitious
- You are confident, charismatic, positive and proactive
- You work well under pressure and in a fast-changing environment
- Extra language is an advantage
- Knowledge / experience in logistics / shipping / trading is an advantage
- Knowledge of chemicals / petrochemicals is an advantage
