The coronavirus outbreak has caused many events worldwide to be canceled or postponed due to countries’ government-imposed restrictions of large gatherings and travel bans.
As the months pass, it seems that more organizers are looking into a hybrid type of conference with on-site and virtual presence & sessions.
This is the case of this year, 8th Annual CIS Base Oils and Lubricants Conference, scheduled for 19-20th May 2021 in Moscow, Russia, with an online version taking place simultaneously. The participants can either be physically present at the conference venue or choose to participate in the online version. Shamrock will have team members available for virtual meetings.
CIS Base Oils and Lubricants conference is the platform to meet those who produce, sell, and use base oils and lubricants across the CIS region and not only.
To briefly mention some of this year topics we have:
- The impact of the pandemic on the global base oils supply and demand
- Growth forecast and the future of the lubricants market in Russia & the CIS
- How the CIS lubricants market is changing with the growing demand for OEM brands
- Collection and re-refining of waste oils in Russia & the CIS
Another event where you can interact with our people is the ACI’s European Base Oils & Lubricants Online Series, scheduled for Tuesday 25th May 2021. This is a two-hour event that will bring together up to 500 key industry stakeholders from the base oil & lubricants industry.
Besides the opportunity to gather market insight and network with peers, there is also a Q&A session where you can ‘raise your hand’ and have a dialogue with the speaker and contribute to the conversation.
