This month, Shamrock successfully transitioned to ISO 9001:2015 certification applicable to trading, transportation activities in base oils, lubricants and petrochemical products. The certification was awarded to us by global ISO-certification body, NQA.
Previously, Shamrock held the ISO 9001:2008 certification, having achieved this in 2013. However, the new update, among other things, gives greater focus to organizations understanding their objectives before establishing a quality management system. This required us to take a completely fresh look at our current quality processes, consider the external and internal issues that affect quality, and define our end goals toward achieving consistent customer satisfaction.
The transition to the new certification affirms Shamrock’s strong pursuit of high quality and customer service excellence. Ever since its establishment, service and process control improvements have been a priority for Shamrock, and have allowed us to further expand in the international market.
What is ISO 9001:2015?
The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System is an internationally recognized standard that confirms Shamrock’s management systems have been established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the following management principles:
